History
The company's history began in 2009, when winemaking activity resumed at Can Serra dels Exibis, an estate with a long history dating back to the 10th century. Over the centuries, the estate has gone through various stages, including the expansion and subsequent decline of viticulture in the region due to industrialization and phylloxera. In 2008, the Cots family acquired the estate and, under the direction of winemaker Joan Soler, a new project was launched to restore the vineyard and produce quality wines, preserving its history and the natural environment.
Product types
The company primarily offers wines, both red and white, made with varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Sumoll, Mandó, and Macabeu. Highlights include Valentina d'Exibis (white wine), Exibis Jove, Exibis La Rasa, and Exibis La Baula (red wines). They also offer wine tourism experiences, such as guided tours and wine tastings.
Mission
The company's fundamental purpose is to respect and restore the land and the local winemaking tradition through organic and biodynamic viticulture. Its long-term goal is to produce wines that express the uniqueness of the territory, its history, and its people, promoting sustainability and the preservation of natural and cultural heritage.
