History
Cementos Tudela Veguín SA was founded in June 1898 by Elías Masaveu Rivell, initially as a pioneer in the manufacture of artificial cement in Spain. Throughout its history, the company has undergone several capital increases, expanded its production capacity, and diversified its products. It has incorporated new plants and companies, such as Cementos La Robla and Cementos Valgrande, and has made investments to improve logistics and transportation. It has also developed activities in related sectors such as ready-mix concrete, precast concrete, and mortar. It is currently part of Masaveu Industria, the industrial division of Corporación Masaveu.
Product types
The company offers a wide range of products, primarily various types of cement (CEM I, CEM II, CEM III, CEM IV), quicklime and hydrated lime, industrial dolomite, agricultural amendments, aggregates, fly ash, slag, and fillers. Among its notable products is the low-environmental-impact BIA range, which combines cement, concrete, mortars, and hydraulic binders. It also produces white cement and specific products for applications in construction, agriculture, industry, and waste treatment.
