History
CVNE was founded in 1879 by brothers Eusebio and Raimundo Real de Asúa in Haro, La Rioja. For more than 145 years, the company has remained in the hands of the same family, currently in its fifth generation. Since its inception, it has grown by incorporating new wineries in different winemaking regions of Spain, obtaining numerous international awards and developing pioneering projects in the sector, such as the introduction of new winemaking techniques and a commitment to sustainability. Its milestones include the creation of emblematic brands such as Cune, Imperial, and Monopole, expansion to regions such as Ribera del Duero, Rías Baixas, and Penedés, and the integration of innovation and art into its facilities. CVNE has maintained a constant evolution, combining respect for tradition with the incorporation of new technologies and sustainable practices.

Product types
CVNE produces a wide range of red, white, rosé, and sparkling wines, covering different categories such as young, crianza, reserva, gran reserva, and organic. Its wineries are present in designations of origin such as Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Rueda, Valdeorras, Cava, and Rías Baixas. Among its most notable products are Imperial (considered Best Wine in the World in 2013), Cune, Monopole (the oldest white wine in Spain), Viña Real, Viñedos del Contino, Bela, Roger Goulart (specializing in traditional sparkling wines), Virgen del Galir, and La Val (a pioneer in the production of Albariño).

Mission
CVNE's fundamental purpose is to produce quality wines that reflect the tradition and character of each region, integrating innovation and respect for the environment into all its processes. In the long term, the company seeks to maintain its leadership in the wine sector, continue expanding into international markets, and achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, promoting sustainability and excellence in viticulture.
