History
Clavo Food Factory was founded in 1985 in Caldas de Reis, Pontevedra, initially as Clavo Congelados. It began with a staff of seven and has experienced steady growth, incorporating a second generation of the family and reaching 400 employees. Over the course of 30 years, the company has evolved toward innovation in frozen and refrigerated products, consolidating its position in the market thanks to the variety and quality of its products. It currently has three factories in Galicia, Castilla y León, and Cantabria.
Product types
They offer a wide range of food products, including meats, fish, pastries, pre-fried products, breaded products, baked goods, prepared dishes, refrigerated products, and canned goods. Among their most notable products are Villaroy Chicken Breast, Loin and Cheese Booklet, Breaded Chicken Breast, Stuffed Baby Squid, San Marino, and Gambardina. They also develop customized products for clients and carry brands such as Dona Dona and La Familia de Lola.
