History
The company was founded in late 2017 when Carlos Díaz and Ángela Donato decided to acquire a small canning factory in Tapia de Casariego, Asturias, with the aim of revitalizing it and turning it into a regional benchmark. After overcoming initial difficulties, they developed innovative products that captured the attention of industry professionals. In 2019, they launched Cantabrian octopus cooked in its own juice, which received international recognition such as three stars at the 2022 Great Taste Awards. Later, in collaboration with Picofino, they presented mussels in vermouth with orange, notable for their originality.
Product types
The company offers a variety of gourmet preserves from the Cantabrian Sea, including Cantabrian octopus cooked in its own juice, northern bonito, mackerel, mussels, sardines, anchovies, and pâtés. They also sell canned packs with different combinations of these products. The Cantabrian octopus cooked in its own juice is their most notable product, internationally recognized.
Mission
