Since then, it has grown to become the largest cooperative in the sector in Europe and the leading sheep milk collection company in its region. Its activities have contributed to the settlement of the rural population and job creation, bringing together more than 700 livestock farms in various provinces of Castile and León and surrounding areas. The Consortium has committed to quality, innovation, and sustainability, consolidating its position as a benchmark in the sector.
Product types
The Consortium offers a wide range of products and services related to the sheep and cattle sectors. Its products include sheep and goat milk, dairy products (such as cheeses and yogurts), meat and meat products, as well as mixes and feed for animal nutrition. It also offers raw material and feed analysis services and develops innovative products such as yogurts enriched with probiotics and omega-3, functional cheeses, and powdered sheep milk.
Mission
The Consortium's fundamental purpose is to integrate and strengthen the economic activity of its livestock partners, ensuring the quality, food safety, and sustainability of its products. In the long term, it seeks to establish itself as a benchmark in the sheep sector, promote innovation and rural development, and contribute to the advancement and sustainability of the food sector.
