History
The company has a history of over 60 years, born from the friendship between two winemaking families. Its founders, Ernesto Atanes "Crego" and Ernesto Rodríguez "Monaguillo," founded the winery inspired by family tradition. After starting with a small production in 2003, the winery has grown in facilities and recognition. Currently, management remains in the hands of the Rodríguez family, and the winery is under the control of Sherpa Capital.
Product types
The company primarily offers red and white wines under the Crego e Monaguillo brand. Among its highlights are Crego y Monaguillo Tinto, made primarily from Mencía grapes, and Crego y Monaguillo Blanco, made primarily from Godello and Treixadura.
