History
Cubiplaya was founded in 1992 by three partners in a former ice cube factory. They initially began producing 30-gram ice cubes, but soon adapted the product to market demand. Since 2001, the company has acquired and merged 14 companies in the sector, consolidating its position in Murcia and Alicante. In 2011, it began manufacturing cocktail ice for Mercadona, expanding its reach to all of Spain in 2014. It currently produces more than 35,000 tons of ice per year and has a large distribution fleet.
