The El Gallo Rojo potato chip factory was founded in Utebo, Aragon, in 1969. In the 1990s, it became part of the Tostados de Calidad company and began its national and international expansion. Currently, its products can be found in traditional stores, supermarkets, large retailers, and in several countries in Europe and Latin America.

The company offers potato chips in different varieties (homemade, classic, with olive oil, spicy, wavy, ham-flavored, country-flavored, among others), as well as a wide range of snacks under the "Snackys" line (onion rings, wheat crusts, roosters, worms, popcorn, wheels, cocktail, and gunis). Other notable products include crusts and torreznos, popcorn, and children's snacks such as corn Konos, roosters, and mini wheels with tomato flavor. Among the featured flavors are potatoes with olive oil and Himalayan pink salt, Iberian ham flavor, cured cheese, black truffle, finger-licking olives, chili and lime, fuet, fried egg, and lemon and pepper.
