Activity
El Obrador de Granda is dedicated to the artisanal production of traditional Asturian pastries, combining traditional techniques and recipes with innovative ingredients and modern methods to offer high-quality products.
History
El Obrador de Granda was created with the goal of sharing artisanal sweets inspired by local Asturian cuisine. The company emerged after finding a bakery in Granda de Abajo, Gijón, on a farm surrounded by nature. It was founded in mid-May 2024 by three partners committed to tradition and gastronomy.
Product types
The company offers a variety of artisanal baked goods, both sweet and savory. Highlights include themed butter cookies, artisan empanadas (cured meat and goat cheese, ham and cheese, tuna, and tuna and ratatouille), casadiellas, alfajores, aniseed doughnuts, Avilés mantecados, and butter pastries.
Mission
The company's fundamental purpose is to preserve artisanal activity and enrich traditional recipes through innovation, seeking to ensure that each product evokes positive moments and reflects the fusion of the traditional and the contemporary. Its goal is to differentiate itself through the quality and flavor of Asturias, combining respect for tradition with modernity.
