FAMADESA

Famadesa is a leading company in the international meat sector, capable of producing and exporting products derivatives of the white pig to the five continents and with more than 40 years of experience.

Famadesa was founded in 1970 as a small slaughterhouse in Campanillas, Málaga. Growth in production and sales led to the opening of a second slaughterhouse in 1997. Since 2010, the company has boosted its internationalization, exporting to more than 20 countries and currently allocating more than 58% of its sales abroad. Its development has been marked by the opening of new markets, especially in Asia and Eastern Europe, and by a continuous process of improvement in R&D and quality. Currently, Famadesa brings together eight companies in the agri-food sector and generates approximately 1,000 direct jobs.

Famadesa offers a wide range of pork products, including fresh meats (heads, ribs, bellies, lean meats, loins, shoulders), cured meats (salchichón, chorizo, blood sausage), cured hams, cooked products, sliced products, pâtés, and canned goods. Among its most notable products are Famadesa Málaga Salchichón and Málaga Ham.
