Foncasal, S.L. It is the result of the convergence of two professional teams. The first one began its journey in 1995 within the Cárnico sector, immediately emerging with great success in the international market, specifically in countries of the RUSSIAN AREA.
The second team joins in 1998 from the sector of canned and semi-preserved delicatessen, contributing and completing a range of novelty products until then in the market. It is easier and quicker to prepare fish and seafood based foods, while maintaining all their nutritional qualities.
History
The NUCHAR brand was founded in 1995 with the goal of producing quality products for chefs and consumers. It began specializing in traditionally cooked octopus and later expanded its range to include other cephalopods and seafood. In 2003, it created its own R&D department to drive innovation and adapt to market needs, collaborating with research organizations to improve its processes and products.
Product types
It offers a wide variety of cooked and ready-to-eat seafood products, highlighting cooked octopus in various presentations (whole, legs, slices, carpaccio), baby octopus, octopus with potatoes, as well as other cephalopods, shellfish, and smoked products such as salmon. It also offers refrigerated products with long shelf-life and adapted packaging to ensure food safety.
