History
Frinsa del Noroeste was founded in 1961 in Ribeira (Galicia, Spain) and has grown to become one of Europe's largest manufacturers of canned fish and seafood. It maintains its headquarters and production facilities in Ribeira and has an international presence, with factories in Spain and Portugal and offices in several European and international cities.
Product types
It offers a wide range of canned fish (yellowfin tuna, albacore tuna, sardines, mackerel, cod, hake, salmon), seafood (mussels, cockles, clams, razor clams, scallops, octopus, baby squid), and meat (chicken and turkey breast). Particularly noteworthy are the albacore tuna belly and products from the Galician estuaries and the Cantabrian Sea. It also sells gourmet packs and complementary products such as wines, beers, and snacks.
