The origin of BAREA dates back to 1941, when Don Manuel Barea Ginés gave the starting signal to a business group that today is made up of diverse merchants. All of them with a 100% family character and always oriented to the professional client of the food and hospitality sector.
Currently, under the umbrella of BAREA GRUPO, several entities are associated such as MANUEL BAREA, S.A., CASH BAREA, S.A., CASH COLOMBINO, S.A. and CASH EXTREMEÑO, S.A.
The group also has "Cash and Carry" surfaces in Seville, Palomares del Río (Seville), Almendralejo (Badajoz) and Huelva capital.
It also has an advanced factory of frozen and salted fish located in Alcalá de Guadaira (Seville). Its products are made available at frozen fish and seafood outlets and also salted cod in Seville, Alcalá de Guadaira (Seville), Mercasevilla, Mairena del Aljarafe (Seville), Fishing Basin of El Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz) ) and Mercamálaga.
Finally, it is necessary to point out that it owns a store specializing in catering, located in the town of Mairena del Aljarafe.

BAREA GRUPO was founded in 1941 by Manuel Barea Ginés as a family business focused on professional customers in the food and hospitality industry. Over the years, it has grown and diversified its activities, incorporating several commercial entities and expanding with Cash & Carry centers in different locations. Since the 1980s, it was a pioneer in implementing the Cash & Carry model in Spain, importing this concept from other countries. Currently, it brings together companies with extensive experience and prestige in the sector.

It offers a wide range of food, beverage, and drugstore products. Its most notable products include salted cod, frozen fish and seafood, Iberian products (ham, chorizo, salchichón, pork loin, cheeses, and wines), olive oil, chips, olives, nuts, preserves, cleaning products, and personal hygiene products. It sells both its own brands and products for third parties.
