History
The company was founded in 1960 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, beginning with the production of ice cream under the Kalise brand. Over the decades, it has expanded its production to include yogurts and desserts, established strategic alliances with international brands, and has received several awards for the quality and innovation of its products. In 1999, it merged with other companies to form Grupo Kalise Menorquina, and in 2017, it was spun off, becoming Grupo Kalise SA. It currently has an extensive distribution network in the Canary Islands and a national and international presence.
Product types
The company offers more than 330 products, including 170 types of ice cream and 160 yogurt and dessert varieties. Highlights include Vanilla Sandwich, Cono Pivot, Trufo Plus Almond ice cream, Clipper popsicles, Origen yogurts, custards in various flavors, lactose-free products, and desserts such as rice pudding and gelatin.
