Its origin goes back to the thirties, when the enterprising José Lou Royo, father and grandfather of the current owners, opened a small olive business in Zaragoza. Later, he ...created a warehouse for the transformation of black olives. After the renewal promoted in the eighties in the manufacturing process and with a permanent technological innovation, Hijos de José Lou was consolidated in the packaging, sale and distribution of olives and pickles. Today, from its facilities in the Malpica industrial estate, in Zaragoza, José Lou's products undergo a careful process of preparation and preservation for the enjoyment of lovers of the Mediterranean diet. Although the olives of Aragonese origin are still the heart of the company, at present, other varieties of olives and a wide range of pickles complete the José Lou range of products, which opens up new markets with the creation of tasty proposals in the form of olives pâté and olives jam. At present, the José Lou brand crosses borders exporting to countries such as France, England, Denmark, Sweden, Lithuania, Poland, Germany, Czech Republic, Moldova, Canada, USA, China or Japan.
