History
Founded in 1909 by Aquilina Gutiérrez Sánchez and Manuel Fernández González in Torrelavega, the company began as a family bakery. Over the years, it grew to become one of the most important bakeries in Cantabria and expanded its operations to include confectionery and chocolate making. During the Civil War, the bakery was taken over, but the family continued to innovate and diversify, including distributing products from other brands. In 2007, the company closed its traditional bakery to adapt to market changes and focus on new products and formats. Currently, the company maintains its family-owned character and seeks to expand by moving its production to Santiago de Cartes.
Product types
It offers a wide range of food products, including coffee (whole bean, ground, and decaffeinated), chocolate (hot, artisan, coated, and sugar-free), flours and breadcrumbs, as well as products from the TachoCao line. It also distributes products from brands such as Gallina Blanca, Fontaneda, Artiach, and Marbú.
Mission
The company is committed to quality based on the selection of the finest raw materials and the craftsmanship of its team, always seeking innovation and adapting to new market needs, with the goal of offering high-quality products and maintaining its leading position in the food sector.
