Galfer Industries is dedicated to the design, development, and manufacture of friction materials and components for braking systems, primarily for the motorcycle and bicycle sectors. Founded in 1952 by Maffio Milesi, Galfer Industries began supplying brake linings and clutch discs for automobiles and heavy-duty vehicles. Over the decades, the company has introduced innovations such as asbestos replacement, developing brake pads and discs for motorcycles and bicycles, and obtaining patents such as the Wave® disc. It has expanded its international presence, establishing subsidiaries and adapting its production to new technologies and quality standards. Today, it has over 70 years of experience and a global presence.

The company offers a wide range of products for braking systems, including brake pads, brake rotors (such as the Wave®, Shark, Cubiq®, and Floatech® models), brake kits, calipers, caliper brackets, and accessories. Highlights include the Shark MTB rotors and the Floatech® rotor, both recognized for their innovation and high performance. Galfer also develops sintered and semi-metallic compounds for brake pads, and supplies both end users and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
