History
Cider production at Isastegi dates back to the 17th century, when it was produced for local consumption and that of the local community. In 1984, the Lasa family decided to commercialize the cider, implementing the necessary procedures for its sale in the market. Within a few years, Isastegi cider gained recognition both in the Basque Country and internationally. Currently, the third generation of the family produces and distributes cider worldwide, maintaining the tradition and using local apples.
