History
The company was founded by José Fernando Pérez Salamanca, a third-generation winemaker, who began the project in 1997 with the planting of the first vineyard in El Toboso, Toledo. In 2005, he built his first winery, Finca la Venta de Don Quijote. In 2015, he expanded to Villaescusa de Haro (Cuenca) and in 2017 to the Rueda DO (Valladolid), where he also built new wineries. Currently, the company has an international presence in more than 20 countries and continues to expand.
Product types
The company offers a wide range of wines, both red and white, made from different grape varieties such as Verdejo, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Tempranillo, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Garnacha, Graciano, Airén, Moscatel, and Macabeo. Its notable products include the J. Fernando Gama Oro, Vinos J. Fernando, VQ Selección, and Carmen Dolores ranges, as well as single-variety wines and blends under various designations of origin, such as DO Rueda, PGI Vinos de la Tierra de Castilla, and DO Ribera del Duero.
