Kaiku was founded more than 70 years ago as a result of a union of farmers seeking to cooperate and prosper. In 1992, following the merger of Gurelesa and Copeleche, the Kaiku Cooperative was created, focusing on basic products such as milk and yogurt. Since 2000, the company has focused on developing value-added brands and internationalization, with a presence in markets such as Tunisia and Chile. Innovation and sustainability have been key pillars of its development.
