History
La Fallera was founded in 1965 by the Ballester brothers in Valencia, following the local rice-growing tradition. Initially located in Benifaió, in 1975 a second factory opened in Seville to meet the demand for long-grain rice. In 1992, it became part of the Herba Group and moved its factory to Silla (Valencia), maintaining the involvement of the founding family. In 1998, it obtained ISO 9002/2000 certification and the guarantee of the Regulatory Council of the Valencia Rice Designation of Origin. In recent years, it has committed to sustainability, introducing paper packaging and adapting its products to new needs.
Product types
The company offers different varieties of rice, including Round Rice, Valencian Designation of Origin Rice, Bomba Rice, Special Brothy and Meloso Rice, and Long Rice. It also sells rice broths. Among its most notable products are Round Rice and Bomba Rice, recognized for their quality and versatility in traditional Valencian cuisine.
