Teneguía

History
The cooperative was founded in 1947 by families from Fuencaliente during difficult times. After the volcanic eruption of 1971, it adopted the name Bodega Teneguía. Over the years, it has maintained its roots in the community and currently brings together 170 island families, preserving both the historic facilities and traditional farming and production methods.

Product types
The company produces wines with the La Palma Designation of Origin, made primarily from rare grape varieties such as Malvasía Aromática. Its products include naturally sweet Malvasía Aromática wines, high-alcohol dry whites and reds, as well as the Teneguía and Llanos Negros lines, which include varieties such as Malvasía Seco, Aromática, La Batista, Pie Franco, Blanco, Tinto, Rosé, and special editions such as Singularis and Mission's Grapes.

Mission
The company seeks to preserve and enhance the wine-growing landscapes, honor the work of the families that are part of the cooperative, and maintain the historical and artisanal legacy, combining this with technological innovation to produce wines that respect the land and tradition.
