Matadero José Calatayud e Hijos, S.A. is a company from La Rioja that began its journey more than 40 years ago. Its main activity focuses on the processing of poultry meat and cuts of the same. Since its inception has always been differentiated by quality, service, innovation and development of new products. Already positioned in the 21st century, with the concern for continuous improvement, 3 new business lines have been developed, elaborated fresh, precooked and cold cuts, all made with poultry meat, which make the difference with our competition and are the future lines of business. As for the markets that are being worked on, they are mainly distribution, traditional and hospitality markets. It offers a wide range of meat products, primarily chicken, turkey, rabbit, hen, and quail. Its products include fresh meats (whole chicken, cuts, turkey, rabbit), processed meats (cold cuts, sausages, hamburgers), prepared dishes (roasted wings, roasted breast, meatballs, croquettes, nuggets), and frozen products. It also offers specialty products such as certified yellow chicken and Lumagorri chicken.
