Activity
Company dedicated to the production of honey and other products of beekeeping.
History
The family's beekeeping business began in 1941, when Alfonso Pérez began beekeeping after attending a course and receiving his first hive. Over the years, the tradition has been passed down through generations, with the installation of the region's first honey packaging facility in the 1980s being a highlight. After a period in which beekeeping was merely a hobby, Gustavo Pérez returned to the business professionally in 2006, consolidating the company Miel LAPUELA.
Product types
The company offers different varieties of raw honey (heather, chestnut, strawberry tree, eucalyptus, calluna, oak, forest), pollen, propolis, and wax. Its most notable products include Summer Heather Honey (awarded Best Honey in Spain), Strawberry Tree Honey, Oak Honey, and several tasting packs of award-winning honeys. It also offers wax rolling and crop pollination services for professionals.
Mission
The company's mission is to develop sustainable beekeeping, committed to preserving the natural environment, protecting biodiversity, and promoting the economic development of the local rural environment. It seeks to offer high-quality, artisanal products, maintaining their natural properties and promoting sustainability and collaboration with other beekeepers.
