History
The Mantecados La Aurora company dates back to the 1920s, when Fernando Moreno Gallardo, after earning his medical degree and settling in Estepa, began managing the mantecados factory. Since 1939, the company has maintained its artisanal activity in the production of traditional sweets.
Product types
La Aurora offers a wide range of traditional products such as artisan mantecados, polvorones, alfajores, wine-flavored doughnuts, "huesos de santo" (bones of saint), auroncinas (sweets), chocolates, cortadillos (chocolates), puff pastries, croquants (croquants), orangettes (sweets), and Les Petit Bonheurs (little goodies). Among its most notable products are artisan mantecados, polvorones (sweets), and specialty pastries such as auroncinas (sweets) and "huesos de santo" (bones of saint).
