Plymouth Gin Std 70cl

The rich, smooth taste of Plymouth Gin is the result of a balanced blend of seven hand-selected botanicals, distilled using Dartmoor water. Sweet Seville orange complements a blend containing bitter botanicals. Plymouth Gin Original is also one of the few gins distilled using a small amount of green cardamom, which gives it those intense, spicy, sweet and floral flavours. In 1793 the first Plymouth gin was created in a former monastery of the Blackfriars monks. It was the third licence issued in the UK and is currently the oldest of all the distilleries still in continuous operation. The small Victorian copper still still in use dates back to 1841, but the recipe and blend of botanicals remains intact from its origins in 1793.
