PETRITEGI SAGARDOAK 2011

Petritegi originated in the Petritegi farmhouse dating back to 1526. The Otaño family has been dedicated to the production and sale of natural cider for over 100 years. Initially, cider was produced for family consumption and to supply the Gipuzkoan fishing fleet, as well as for sale in taverns and cider houses. Currently, the Petritegi cider house is a benchmark for cider tasting and Basque cuisine, maintaining tradition while adapting to new experiences and services.

Petritegi offers a wide variety of natural ciders (including designation of origin, organic, single-varietal, and sparkling ciders), apple juices, apple cider vinegar, vermouth with cider, and food products such as Idiazabal cheese, quince jelly, tejas, and Tolosa cigarettes. It also offers cider house menus for dine-in or takeaway, and organizes experiences and guided tours related to cider culture.

The company aims to help customers discover and enjoy the ancient culture of Basque apples and cider, promoting unique culinary and cultural experiences in a natural setting, and promoting sustainability and quality in its products and services.
