Company HISTORY IMPERIA Foie gras is constituted in Riudellots de la Selva (Girona) in the early 90's. Its family shareholding, from two families of recognized experience in the Delicatessen sector and with an in-depth knowledge of the Foie gras market, enables the establishment of a highly specialized company in an area of ​​proven gastronomic tradition such as Girona. Its geographical location allows to control the origin of the animal and the subsequent logistic distribution of the elaborated product, guaranteeing a service of first quality at national and international level. IMPERIA Foie gras is currently positioned widely in the Spanish national market and is being introduced in highly competitive international markets.   PREPARATION PLANT IMPERIA Foie gras has a production plant in Riudellots de la Selva (Girona) of 2,300m2. From the beginning, the design of the facilities and the distribution of the space was made under the premise of modernity and specialization, by the product line, allowing a manufacturing adapted to the needs of a product as delicate as Foie gras. The continuous investment in technology can be seen in spaces such as the White Room, with a controlled atmosphere, which guarantees an absence of external elements in the handling of the product, guaranteeing the food safety of all our products. The constant innovation and diverse agreements with Spanish universities reinforce the research carried out by R & D. The strict controls and quality certifications are carried out in each of the production processes, guaranteeing the traceability of the elaborations from the origin of the raw material to the final product, issued daily from our facilities to those of our distributors.
