DOP Arzúa-Ulloa A Ponte Cheese 500 g

This lenticular cheese is obtained by pasteurizing the highest quality cow's milk and aging for a minimum of six days. It has a thin, elastic, shiny, and smooth rind, and all are wrapped in our characteristic white cotton band. Inside, a uniform, crack-free paste, ivory white to pale yellow in color, displays irregularly distributed rounded eyes. Finally, an aroma reminiscent of yogurt and butter, and the fundamental milky flavor, slightly salty and with medium-low acidity, allow us to identify an exquisite Arzúa-Ulloa cheese from BAMA. TRY OUR CHEESE WITH… Arzúa-Ulloa cheese is a soft cheese that can be used in both savory and sweet dishes. It can be accompanied with honey or quince jelly if eaten raw, but it is also very suitable for enriching vegetable or meat dishes or for creating richer fillings. Furthermore, since it melts at low temperatures without losing its properties, it is ideal as an accompaniment to sandwiches or for making toast and gratin dishes.
