History
Founded in 1957 in Mallorca, Cafès Illes Balears is recognized as the oldest artisanal coffee company on the island. Since its inception, it has roasted its coffee in its own facilities and in 2014 received the 260th Artisan Coffee Company Award. In 2005, it launched a sustainability program with an experimental coffee plantation in Europe.
