The company is a cooperative that offers comprehensive services to farmers and ranchers, ranging from the production and marketing of agricultural and livestock inputs to the provision of complementary services such as insurance, fuel, telephone and mechanical workshops.
History
The cooperative was founded in 1982 and has experienced significant growth for over 40 years, expanding its reach beyond Zamora to Castile and León, Extremadura, Portugal, and other neighboring regions. It currently has more than 11,000 members and collaborates with 30 cooperatives in Spain and 1,600 farmers and ranchers in Portugal.
Product types
It offers a wide range of products and services, including: seeds, fertilizers, plant protection products, technical advice, animal feed (feeds, mixtures, raw materials), agricultural and livestock equipment, insurance (agricultural, home, vehicle, health, etc.), fuels (diesel and gasoline), telephone services (mobile, landline, fiber optic, television), mechanical workshop, agricultural projects, and shop products such as cheeses, Iberian products and oils from the Bajo Duero brand.
Mission
The fundamental purpose of the cooperative is to generate prosperity by helping farmers and ranchers, based on values such as quality, trust, commitment and closeness, and maintaining a commitment to environmental management and continuous improvement.
