History
The company began in 1948 as "Wilmed" under the direction of Willy Mederer, initially focusing on traditional confectionery. Over time, the company expanded its product range, and in 1975, Herbert Mederer founded the Trolli brand, focusing on creative, high-quality jelly beans. In 1982, they launched the first "Trolli Originals," and in 1984, Herbert took over, introducing innovative products such as the "Wurrli" and the "Trolli Burger." In 1993, the company expanded internationally, establishing facilities in Spain and later in China and other markets, establishing itself as a global brand in the confectionery sector.
