The company began its canning business in the 1920s in Galicia, moving to Malaga in 1953. Over the decades, it has expanded its production and technological capacity, with milestones such as the opening of new factories in Malaga, La Línea de la Concepción, Morocco, Cape Verde, Portugal, and Russia. Since the 1980s, it has incorporated the marketing of smoked products and, later, cod and salted fish. It has developed a plan for internationalization and industrial improvements, consolidating its position as one of the leading national groups in its sector.
Product types
It offers a wide range of seafood products, highlighting canned fish (mackerel, tuna, frigate tuna, sardines, shellfish such as lobster and fine-shellfish), smoked fish (salmon, cod, pomfret, tuna, carpaccio, loins, marinated), cod in various presentations and curing methods, and other salted fish (mojama, pressed sardines, bonito, capellan, roe). It also develops innovative products and by-products such as fishmeal.
