Activity
Six generations dedicated to the care of wine, to the passion for work well done, to the close vigilance of the vineyard. A long history for the oldest winery in Rueda that has managed to adapt to new times while respecting the legacy of more than a century of experience. The wine is created in the vineyard. It is the grape that marks the splendor of a Sanz wine. It is that accurate care and that plea to heaven, that patient waiting for the bud and that healthy, strong, but hard land with the strain, which imposes the differences. A wine from the earth born of the effort of climate, soil and man to look elegantly in the glass.

History
The company was founded in 1870 by a family from La Seca, known as the Donatos, who recognized the land's potential for producing white wines, especially with the native Verdejo variety. In 1980, with the creation of the Rueda Designation of Origin, the company built a new winery equipped with advanced technology to improve the quality of its wines. For more than 150 years, the company has maintained its focus on quality and tradition, adapting to changing times and establishing itself as the oldest winery in Rueda.

Product types
The company offers a wide range of white and red wines under the DO Rueda and DO Vinos de Madrid designations. Its white wines include Sanz Clásico, Sanz Verdejo, Sanz Sauvignon, Sanz Ecológico, Finca La Colina Verdejo Cien x Cien, Finca La Colina Sauvignon Blanc, Finca La Colina Dressage, Finca La Colina Fermentado en Barrica, Finca La Colina El Vencejo, El Loco by Finca La Colina, La Chalada by Vinos Sanz, Montesol Rueda, Montesol Verdejo, and Montesol Sauvignon Blanc. Its red wines include Sanz La Capital and Sanz La Capital Roble, both 100% Tempranillo.

Mission
The company's fundamental goal is to preserve the vineyard's full potential and meticulously care for the grape production, upholding the principles of quality and tradition. Its long-term goal is to offer wines that reflect the legacy and experience of more than a century, combining tradition with adaptation to changing times.
