The history of the winery begins in 1956, when a group of small winemakers from the area of Lerín convinced of the possibilities of their vineyards decide to join together to create a project whose main motivation is to market high quality wines.
Sharing their vineyards, working side by side and using the techniques inherited from parents to children since time immemorial, these enterprising men laid the foundations of what is currently the Bodegas Alconde.
The winery has 510 hectares of own vineyards located in the most privileged areas of Navarre for the cultivation and development of the vine.
Its soils of clay-calcareous nature and rocky orography, its ideal orientation to the sun for a perfect maturation of the grape, its unique climate and the perfect and constant work make that of its vines and after a careful selection the best grapes are obtained for the elaboration of excellent wines, which year after year are recognized throughout the world.
Occupying a total area of 8,500 square meters, they are composed of different areas combining the charm and sobriety of the original winery with the complexity of the new areas equipped with the most modern technology. They emphasize the aging ship, which houses 2,300 French and American oak barrels, renewed every three years to continue to bring elegance and subtlety to the wine inside it and the bottle rack, with a capacity of one million bottles and where our wines rest in the quietest stillness.
