Activity
Liberalia is a family winery located in the area of the historic and prestigious Designation of Origin Toro, province of Zamora (Spain).
The vineyards are in payments, where there has traditionally been vine cultivation. The variety is the Tinta de Toro, adapted to the terroir of the Tempranillo variety or Tinto Fino. It also owns the family of white grape vineyards of the ancestral autochthonous varieties: Moscatel de Grano Menudo, Malvasia and Albillo.
History
The company began in 1996 with the acquisition and management of vineyards by Juan Antonio Fernández. In 2000, it began producing unique, high-quality wines. Since then, it has expanded its business to wine production and has incorporated cultural and wine tourism activities.
Product types
Liberalia primarily produces red, white, sparkling, and sweet wines under the Toro DO. Its notable products include Liberalia Liber, Liberalia Cinco, Liberalia Cuatro, Liberalia Tres, Liberalia Dos, Liberalia Uno (sweet wine), Liberalia Cabeza de Cuba, Liberalia Cero, and Liberalia Pajarita Verdejo. They also offer artisanal honey and promotional wine packs.
