Activity
The company is dedicated to the production and marketing of fortified sherry wines, vermouths, and vinegars, as well as the winemaking of oak barrels (sherry casks) for distilleries. It also offers tours and tastings at its winery.
History
The winery dates back to 1939, founded by Juan González Sillero, although the family tradition in winemaking and cooperage dates back to 1860. The current project is the restoration of the family winery in 2021, led by direct descendants and professionals with more than 30 years of experience in the sector, with the aim of restoring the family heritage and revitalizing the activity at the Mesas de Asta farmhouse.
Product types
It offers fortified sherry wines (Fino, Amontillado, Oloroso, and Cream), vermouths (red and white), sherry vinegar, and sherry cask aging services. Highlights include very old soleras (Amontillado, Oloroso, and Palo Cortado), young wines, and vermouths made in-house.
Mission
Its purpose is to recover and preserve the family heritage and winemaking tradition of Jerez, offering authentic products and wine experiences, and keeping the region's wine culture alive.
