History
The company was founded in 1963 as a cooperative of small family wineries in Bizkaia, focused on wine marketing. In 1975, eight Bizkaia wineries transformed the cooperative into a public limited company and acquired a winery in Laguardia, which became the center of the project. In the 1990s, one of the founding families assumed full control, driving the company's modernization and national and international expansion. Today, Bodegas Ubide boasts modern facilities and is present in several international markets.
