The Bon Preu Group is a Catalan family business in the food sector, run by the Font i Fabregó family, which was already developing commercial activity at the beginning of the 20th century. In 1974 the first establishment in Manlleu was opened to the public and in 1988 the first hypermarket, the Esclat in Vilafranca del Penedès.
