Activity
The origins of this company date back to a century and a half, more specifically a year, 1850.
Its founder was Juan Losada García, who began working as a confectioner to later specialize in the manufacture of candies in Hellín.
He called his small business "La Pájara" in attention to his wife, who was well known in the town.
I started this activity when I go to France to collect an inheritance, of which I spend a large part in acquiring molds for the manufacture of candies.
On his return to Hellín he began to experiment with them, until he got different shapes, and to make the candies in a totally handmade way using his hands to shape them, so he invented the famous Hellín candy in a cylindrical way (he shaped it such a significant day for hellineros like Holy Thursday, trying to calm his nerves while his wife gave birth), which until 1960 was made and wrapped in an artisanal way.
