History
The company was founded in the late 1930s by José Sánchez under the name "Conservas Vegetales José Sánchez García," initially to preserve artisanal fruit preserves. It later evolved into vegetable preserves, maintaining strict control over the process. In 1967, they began producing preserved turnip greens, a product that became their benchmark. In 2007, the cannery was acquired by Terras Gauda, ensuring the continuity of its traditional activity.
Product types
It offers a wide range of canned vegetables, with turnip greens as its flagship product. Other products include collards, mushrooms, mirabelle mushrooms in syrup, tomatoes, Galician potatoes, broad beans, ham with turnip greens, and a line of organic products (Bio) such as broad beans and whole peeled tomatoes.
