Activity
CONSERVERA CASTREÑA S.A. is a canned and salted fish factory, with more than 33 years of experience in the sector. His specialization has been, for many years, the manufacture of salted anchovies and anchovy fillets in olive oil. In recent years it has been incorporating another series of products into its catalog, such as canned Bonito del Norte in Olive Oil, and products made from anchovy, such as "anchovy pearls". "La Castreña, synonymous with quality" is our slogan and the principle that has governed our company since the beginning. To elaborate our products, we start with the highest quality raw material and follow a careful process of artisanal elaboration, carried out entirely in our facilities in Castro Urdiales, thus ensuring that our products are of the highest quality. All natural and without artificial additives.

History
Conservera Castreña SA was founded on August 8, 1986, and began manufacturing in October of the same year. Since then, the company has maintained its commitment to quality and tradition in the production of its products, recently expanding its facilities and incorporating organic production lines.

Product types
The company offers a wide variety of seafood products, especially Cantabrian anchovies and albacore tuna. It also sells other products such as yellowfin tuna, cod, sea bream, sea bass, salmon, mussels, sardines, and various canned goods. Among its most notable products are anchovy fillets in olive oil and canned albacore tuna.

Mission
The company's fundamental purpose is to offer seafood products of the highest quality, prepared in a traditional manner, without artificial additives and with 100% natural ingredients, maintaining strict quality control and respecting responsible fishing.
