Activity
The group Alimentario Dcoop S.Coop.And. It is a large food cooperative of the second degree, that is, its partners are companies - the great majority of which are cooperatives - which in turn own 75,000 farmers and ranchers in Spain. The sections or activities of this cooperative are currently made up of: Virgin olive oil: more than a hundred mills with an average annual production of more than 200,000 tons of production, which makes it the world leader Table olives: 26 associated entities dedicated to the production of table olives with a quota of 90,000 tons. It produces many varieties, mainly hojiblanca and also chamomile, aloreña and gordal. Wine: 16 cooperatives associated with productions of more than 170,000,000 liters of wine: red and white, of different varieties and with designations of origin (Mancha, Rioja, Jerez, Valdepeñas, Manchuela and Ribera del Júcar). It operates mainly in the largest vineyard in the world: La Mancha. It is the result of the merger with Bodegas Asociadas Cooperativas (BACO), which occurred in 2014. Livestock: currently has a dozen associated cooperatives that are initially dedicated to the common commercialization of livestock (12,500 tons of white-coat pigs marketed, Iberian meat beef (with 1,150 tons ...), selling 40 million liters of milk goat, animal health supplies, and the joint purchase of raw materials for feed manufacture This section is moving towards transformation in the value chain. Cereals: constituted by a fortnight of cooperatives for the commercialization in common of arable crops (cereals, oleaginous, legumes and other grains). Nuts: created in 2017 by seven associated entities to commercialize these products, mainly almonds. Supplies and services: more than a hundred associated cooperatives for the provision of services to farmers: phytosanitary, fertilizers, fuels, advice to farms, repair of machinery oleotécnica, spare parts, shops, electricity, telephony, travel, insurance ... all that help to lower production costs.


History
Dcoop was founded in 1995 and has grown by integrating cooperatives from different regions of Spain, especially Andalusia and Castilla-La Mancha. Over the years, it has expanded its areas of activity through mergers and the incorporation of new cooperatives, consolidating its position as a leader in sectors such as olive oil and wine. It currently has a broad regional presence and strong export activity.

The company offers a wide range of agri-food products, including olive oil, olives, wines, almonds, other nuts, cereals, goat milk, beef and pork, animal feed, animal health products, and agricultural supplies. It also provides financial services to its member cooperatives.
