Activity
Each town has a peculiar and unique gastronomy that is part of its history and culture and that over time becomes its hallmark.
In the case of our town, Unquera, a small town east of Cantabria and bordering Asturias, is known for its well-known Corbatas, a true delicacy prepared in a traditional way that will delight your palate.
History
The family-owned company, known as Hermanos Junco, began operations in 1981 with the acquisition of the El Pindal cafeterias and bakery in Unquera. Initially, they sold their products in their own establishments, but in 1997 they moved their workshop to a new location, allowing them to increase production and begin selling through external points of sale. The company has combined traditional craftsmanship with the incorporation of modern technology and machinery, and has expanded its catalog and presence in the national market.
Product types
It offers a variety of baked goods, including Puff Pastry Ties (in various presentations and coatings such as white chocolate, milk chocolate, and dark chocolate), palmiers (covered in different types of chocolate and in different formats), and traditional sobaos.
Mission
The company seeks to combine tradition and artisanal know-how with the use of technology and quality raw materials, remaining connected to its land and constantly evolving to expand its market presence.
