History
José Luis Alonso Benito SL was founded in 1987 by José Luis Alonso Benito and Inés Sánchez Sánchez, along with their children. It began as a small factory that soon expanded due to the success of the business. Over time, the company acquired the "La Gallega" farm to modernize the pig farm and a second factory to improve production and quality. The company has evolved while maintaining tradition and quality in its processes.
Product types
It offers a wide range of Iberian pork products, including hams (acorn-fed, field-fed, and grain-fed), shoulders, loins, cured meats (chorizo, salchichón, morcón, longanizas, blood sausage), and fresh meats (presa, sirloin, secreto, pluma, cheeks, lagarto, abanico, ribs, fresh loin, among others). The most notable products are its acorn-fed and grain-fed Iberian hams and shoulders, as well as its artisanal cured meats.
