Activity
The company is primarily dedicated to the production of wines and spirits, especially fortified wines from the Jerez region and brandy, as well as offering wine tourism experiences at its facilities in Jerez de la Frontera.
History
The winery's origins date back to 1848, although construction of the original complex began in 1765. Throughout the 20th century, the winery passed through several hands, including Palomino & Vergara, Rumasa, and John Harvey & Sons Ltd. In 1992, it was acquired by José Páez Morilla, who founded Bodegas Dios Baco, SL, reviving the name of one of the original wineries. After a generational change, the company remains a renowned family winery in the Jerez region.
Product types
The company produces a wide range of fortified wines such as Manzanilla, Fino, Amontillado, Oloroso, Medium, Cream, Moscatel, and Pedro Ximénez, as well as a VORS range aged for over 30 years (Amontillado, Oloroso, Palo Cortado, and Pedro Ximénez). It also produces organic still wines (Bulería red and white), vinegars, brandies (Solera and Gran Reserva), whisky, rum, and gins. Notable products include the Saca 30th Anniversary Fino en Rama, Brandy Luís Enrique, Brandy Imperial de Baco, and Dios Baco Cream.
