History
The company was founded in the summer of 2012 and has since worked to promote the health-promoting properties of teff and expanding its reach to other grains. In 2014, it received the Excellence Award for Innovation for Rural Women from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Environment.
Product types
Salutef offers flours, flakes, seeds/grains, starches, husks/powders, and gums, all gluten-free and many of them organic. Highlights include teff grain, quinoa flakes, buckwheat flakes, psyllium husk and powder, quinoa and buckwheat flours, corn and potato starch, and guar and xanthan gums.
