History
Quesos Torralba was founded in 1939 by Josep Cardona, known as "Bep de Torralba," and his family in Alaior, Menorca. Initially, the business consisted of storing and maturing cheeses made by local farmers, which were then sold to companies and shops on the island and in Mallorca. Over time, the business grew, and in 1964 it moved to a larger warehouse on Carretera Nova, where it continues to operate and has been passed down through three generations.


Product types
The company primarily offers semi-cured and cured cheeses, both made with raw milk. The semi-cured cheese is aged for 2 to 5 months, with a flavor and aroma reminiscent of butter. The cheeses are distinguished by their artisanal production and the absence of molds, making each piece unique.
