Nunest Food was founded in 2012 by a team with over 30 years of experience in the meat industry. It is a family-run business that has grown by supplying products to various channels and, in 2024, moved to new facilities in Gurb, Spain, with cold and frozen storage capacity.

It offers pork, chicken, turkey, beef, duck, and Iberian pork in fresh and frozen formats. Its products include frozen boneless pork collar, frozen chain-free pork loin, boneless chicken thigh meat, and frozen chicken hindquarters. It also sells products under its own brands such as Nunest Food, Barcelona Pork, and Ampuria, and offers the option of personalized labels.
